In Dutchess County, the proportion of residents who think there is too much development has declined.  The proportion of residents who are satisfied with the level of development in their community or the proportion of residents who want growth to happen at a faster pace have increased.    In 2007, Dutchess County was divided between residents who believed the amount of growth in their community was about right, 42%, and those who thought there had been too much, 40%.
