A majority of residents have a positive impression of the cultural sites, such as landmarks and museums, available in their community. 56% rate them as at least good compared with 43% who consider them to be only of fair or poor quality. Read more

A majority of residents believe their community allocates about the right amount of resources to maintaining and promoting cultural sites in the area. 52% of Mid-Hudson Valley residents think community funding for cultural sites, such as landmarks and museums, is adequate. 38% believe too few resources are expended for this issue. Summary: The Arts and Cultural Sites

Support for the arts has generally remained constant over the past five years. Although residents of the Mid-Hudson Valley do not consider it to be one of the highest priorities for the region, the arts are still very important to many residents. People living in the Mid-Hudson Valley overall feel positively about the landmarks and museums in their community and, for the most part, think their community is expending enough resources for that purpose.
