Safety

Orange County residents are more concerned about community safety than residents in other counties in the region.  Residents of Orange County place crime fourth on their priorities’ list and give it a 7.6 average score.  Community safety has jumped up three rungs on the ladder of concern in Orange County.  In 2007, it ranked seventh, but had a similar mean of 7.7.
