A majority of residents have a positive impression of the cultural sites, such as landmarks and museums, available in their community. 56% rate them as at least good compared with 43% who consider them to be only of fair or poor quality.
There are county differences. Residents of Columbia and Dutchess Counties continue to be the most satisfied with the cultural sites in their community. Nearly two-thirds of residents in both these counties rate them positively.
Residents of Putnam and Sullivan Counties are the least satisfied with the cultural sites, such as landmarks and museums, available to them locally. In fact, a majority of residents in these counties describe the quality of the cultural sites in their community as just fair or poor.
Mid-Hudson Valley residents from all walks of life generally have a positive view of the cultural sites available to them in their community.
