Economic Priorities
Sullivan County residents consider three economic issues top concerns.  As noted, keeping businesses in the area is the number one priority for residents of the county.  Creating more jobs and reducing taxes also are among the five leading priorities for county residents overall.  The county is the only one of the seven counties of the Mid-Hudson Valley to have three economic issues in the top tier of issues.
